[1] Structure Introduction

It adopts a triple eccentric multi-level hard sealing structure.Its seat seal is S31803+graphite.We can also produce SS304+graphite,SS316+graphite,SS304+(R)PTFE,SS316+(R)PTFE,S32750+graphite and so on.

[2]Material Introduction

Duplex stainless steel 2205 butterfly valve.

Duplex stainless steel is also called duplex steel butterfly valve. 2205 is one of the materials of duplex steel. Another common one is 2507. The corresponding castings are 4A, 5A, etc.

Duplex stainless steel is generally used in corrosive working conditions such as seawater or desulfurization. Therefore, the selection of sealing materials must also be corrosive. The triple eccentric structure butterfly valve produced by our company is different from the centerline butterfly valve. The inner diameter of the centerline butterfly valve is directly wrapped by rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene. Therefore, the valve body itself does not come into contact with the medium. Therefore, only the butterfly plate and the valve stem need to be made of duplex stainless steel. However, due to soft sealing, it is generally not resistant to high pressure and is usually used in working conditions below PN16.

For the butterfly valve with triple eccentric structure, the medium will directly contact the valve body. Its sealing material is sandwiched on the butterfly plate and contacts the metal valve seat to achieve sealing. Therefore, for the butterfly valve with triple eccentric structure, the valve body, butterfly plate and valve stem must all be made of duplex stainless steel. The sealing materials can be rubber EPDM, NBR, or PTFE, RPTFE and other corrosion-resistant materials. The butterfly plate itself is more expensive than the centerline butterfly valve, but it can withstand high pressure. The maximum pressure can reach PN100 or 600LB.
