[1] Structure Introduction

It adopts a triple eccentric multi-level hard sealing structure.Its seat seal is S31803+graphite.We can also produce SS304+graphite,SS316+graphite,SS304+(R)PTFE,SS316+(R)PTFE,S32750+graphite and so on.

Features of the triple eccentric butterfly valve:

1. Short structure size, small volume, light weight, and easy to operate.

2. Adopts the integral shaft mechanism, the butterfly plate has high strength and large flow area.

3. The unique triple eccentric design reduces the sealing friction loss and significantly extends the service life.

[2]Material Introduction

C95800 is an aluminum bronze alloy. Its main components include copper, aluminum, nickel, and a small amount of elements such as iron, manganese, and silicon. The contents of various elements are approximately as follows:

• Cu: ≥ 78.0%;
• Pb: ≤ 0.02%;
• Fe: 3.5 - 4.5%;
• Ni + Co: 4.0 - 5.0%;
• Al: 8.5 - 9.5%;
• Mn: 0.8 - 1.5%;
• Si: ≤ 0.05%.

The aluminum bronze C95800 has the following characteristics:

• High strength: It has relatively high strength and is often used in manufacturing parts with high strength requirements, such as screws, nuts, copper sleeves, sealing rings, etc.
• Good wear resistance: The prominent feature is its good wear resistance and can be used in manufacturing parts that require wear resistance.
• Corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various corrosive media such as seawater, acids, and alkalis. It is widely used in fields such as marine engineering and chemical equipment. For example, it can be used to manufacture ship propellers, ship shafts, rudders, and pumps, valves, pipes and other components in chemical equipment.
• Non-sparking property: It will not produce sparks under impact and can be used as a non-sparking tool material.
• Excellent thermal conductivity and stiffness: It has excellent thermal conductivity and stable stiffness and has become a new type of mold material. For example, when stretching and rolling stainless steel plate heat exchangers, there will be no problems such as sticking to the mold or scratching the workpiece.
• Machinability: It can be formed through processes such as forging, casting, and machining to make various complex parts. It can also be heat-treated to further improve its performance.

The default configuration of the nickel-aluminum bronze butterfly valve C95800 material produced by our company:

Body: C95800
Disc: C95800
Stem: Monel K400
Sealing ring: PTFE
Packing: PTFE
Packing gland: C95800
Bracket: WCB

Due to the main sealing effect achieved by the contact between the sealing ring on the butterfly disc and the valve seat, and most nickel-aluminum bronze butterfly valves are used in seawater media, our company uses PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene, which is known as the "king of plastics". 

Since the bracket is installed outside the pipeline and will not come into contact with the medium. Considering the cost issue, we use the more common WCB material bracket. If the customer has requirements, our company can also produce brackets of other materials such as stainless steel 304 and 316.

Regarding the valve stem, some customers require that the valve stem also be made of copper. Generally, C63200 is used. Our company can also produce this. However, considering the strength and applicability of the valve stem, by default, our company still uses Monel K400 material.
