A butt welding butterfly valve is a type of Butterfly Valve.
Structure and Features:
- It has a sturdy body designed for butt welding directly to the pipeline. This type of connection provides a seamless and highly reliable joint, ensuring minimal leakage and strong structural integrity.
- The valve consists of a butterfly disc, a stem, and a body. The butterfly disc is usually made of durable materials such as stainless steel or carbon steel, capable of withstanding high pressures and temperatures.

Working Principle:
Similar to other butterfly valves, when the disc is rotated to a position perpendicular to the flow of the fluid, the valve is closed and stops the flow. When the disc is rotated to a position parallel to the flow, the valve is open and allows the fluid to pass through. By adjusting the angle of the disc, the flow rate of the fluid can be controlled.
