The lug butterfly valve is a type of valve with distinct characteristics.

Structure and Features:

• It has lugs on the valve body. These lugs are used for bolting the valve to the pipeline. The design provides a secure connection and allows for easier installation and removal compared to some other valve types.
• The valve consists of a butterfly disc, a stem, and a body. The butterfly disc is usually made of materials such as metal or plastic, depending on the application requirements. The stem is connected to the disc and is used to rotate it to control the flow of fluid.

Working Principle:

• Similar to other butterfly valves, when the disc is rotated to a position perpendicular to the flow of the fluid, the valve is closed and stops the flow. When the disc is rotated to a position parallel to the flow, the valve is open and allows the fluid to pass through.
