The flange butterfly valve is a type of valve widely used in industrial pipelines.

Structure and Components:

• It consists of a valve body, a disc (butterfly plate), a stem, and flanges. The flanges are used for connecting the valve to the pipeline system, providing a secure and reliable connection.
• The butterfly plate is located inside the valve body and can be rotated around the stem.

Working Principle:

• When the butterfly plate is rotated to a position perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid, the valve is closed, blocking the flow of the medium.
• When the butterfly plate is rotated to a position parallel to the flow direction, the valve is fully open, allowing the fluid to flow through smoothly. By adjusting the angle of the butterfly plate, the flow rate of the fluid can be controlled.
