The installation direction of the triple eccentric butterfly valve
The common connection methods of the triple eccentric butterfly valve include flange type, wafer type, lug type, butt-weld type, etc. However, no matter which connection method is used, there are both one-way sealing and two-way sealing butterfly valves.
For one-way sealing butterfly valves, there will be an arrow indicating the flow direction of the medium on the valve body. During installation, simply adjust the direction according to this arrow.
For example, if the arrow points from left to right, make sure the medium flows from the left side towards the right side when the valve is installed. This ensures that the valve functions properly and provides effective sealing. Failure to install in accordance with the arrow's indication may lead to leakage or reduced performance of the valve.
For two-way sealing butterfly valves, the situation is more complex. Some manufacturers, similar to one-way sealing butterfly valves, only have one arrow, representing the main flow direction. Installation is selected based on the actual medium flow direction. There are also some that have two arrows. One large arrow indicates the main flow direction, and one small arrow represents the secondary flow direction.
